OHTF Lady Eagles Capture All 16 Events in Triangular Wins Over Alexandria & Mississinewa - Seniors Combine to Win 9 Events on Senior Night - Alfandre, Bowlin, Campbell, Hale Break Program 4x1 Record

The OHTF Lady Eagles managed to take 1st place in all 16 events in Tuesday's home triangular meet against Alexandria and Mississinewa to score 112 points. Mississinewa was 2nd with 39 points while Alexandria was 3rd with 10. In all the Lady Eagles Seniors combined to win 9 events on Senior Night led by Ellie Campbell's 3 wins. Campbell's biggest win of the night may have come in the 4x100 Meter Relay when the foursome of herself, classmates Riley Alfandre and Cail Bowlin along with Sophomore Annie Hale broke the program record by nearly a full second at a converted 50.43. The previous record came a year ago by three of the group - Alfandre, Bowlin, and Campbell along with now Junior Ava Keith at 51.05. Before that the record was set in 2013 at 51.08 and before that 1985 at 51.3. Campbell also took wins in the High Jump and Long Jump. Alfandre and Bowlin were also double winners grabbing 1st place in the 200 meter Dash for Alfandre and as part of the 4x400 Meter Relay for Bowlin. Bowlin was joined on the relay by Junior Audrey Rex along with Freshmen Emi Babinski and Bri Dailey. Senior Lady Eagle thrower swept the throws tonight winning both Shot Put and Disc. Senior Abby Sneed took the win in Pole Vault. Another win by an athlete being honored on Senior Night was by foreign exchange student Katie Bock who was part of the winning 4x800 Meter Relay. Joining Bock on the relay was Sophomore Lilly Snyder along with Freshmen Savannah Hunt and Callie Nuber. Other non-senior athlete wins on the night came from Junior Lexi Nuber in the 100 Meter Hurdles, Rex in the 100 Meter Dash. Sophomores Quinn Brunner in the 3200 Meter Run, Lilly Edwards in the 400 Meter Dash, and Erika Newhouse in the 300 Hurdles plus Freshmen Rossi Skinner in the 1600 Meter Run and Lilly Hunt in the 800 Meter Run. Individual Runner Up finishes on the night came from Juniors Addison Carey in the 1600 run behind Skinner, Rex behind Edwards in the 400, Keith behind Sneed in Pole Vault, and Biruk Travis in the 800 behind Hunt. Newhouse took runner up honors in the Long Jump behind Campbell as did Dailey in the High Jump. Three Lady Eagle performances today climbed the Program All Time lists as Newhouse posted the 3rd best Long Jump Mark ever, Nuber a Top 7 100 Hurdle Time, and Brunner pushed the Top 10 in the 3200 Meter Run. The Lady Eagles compete Friday May 9th at Mississinewa in the Central Indiana Conference Championship.
