Oak Hill High School

The Lady Eagles lost tonight in 5 innings to Western 3-13. Western got ahead by 2 runs in the first inning coming from a 2 run home-run. Then they went ahead by 3 more in the second inning with back to back home runs. Oak Hill was able to score 1 run in the bottom of the second to make the score 5-1. Madison Archer hit a single and advanced to second base on a passed ball. Then on a hard hit by Pathie Speicher and an throwing error by the shortstop, Archer was able to score the run. Both teams were scoreless in the third inning. Oak Hill managed to score 2 runs in the 4th inning to make the score 5-3. Karsyn was hit by a pitch to start the inning. She was followed by a single into right by M. Archer. Becca Cardona was then walked by the pitcher loading the bases. Maddie Evans stepped up and hit a beautiful single up the middle to score a run. Ryleigh Myers was then walked to score the second run of the inning. Western ended up scoring 8 runs in the fifth inning to make the score 13-3 and Oak Hill was not able to answer with a run to go into the 6th inning. R. Myers went 1 for 2 with an RBI. M. Archer went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored. M. Evans went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI. Karsyn Wiley pitched almost 5 innings for the Eagles and had 3 strikeouts. P. Speicher finished up the 5th inning for Oak Hill.
