Oak Hill High School

Both of the JHXC squads hosted and swept four-way meets Thursday against Northfield, Riverview (Huntington), and Southwood. The girls and boys both managed to put 4 runners in the Top 6 to run away with the meet. The girls were led by Verity Bishop (8) who took Runner Up Honors. Lucy Devers (8), Lakyn Blair (6), and Brooklyn Bollhoefer (6) were close behind packed up in 4th, 5th, and 6th. Kelly Grant (6) had a strong day as well cracking the Top 10 in 9th overall. Brooklyn Disney (7) and Audie Koontz (7) rounded out the Varsity Top 7 in 11th and 12th respectively. The boys were led by Colson Woodard (8) and Keaton Vetor (8) who took Runner Up Honors and 3rd Place overall. Ellison Beights (7) was 5th followed closely behind by Wesley Hagan (6) in 6th. Bryson Losure (8) was the final scoring spot in a strong Top 10 finish. The Top 7 Varsity was rounded out by Asher Bowlin (6) and Ripley Roark (6) in 11th and 13th respectively. Both squads are back in action this Saturday September 20th in the South Adams Invitational.
