OHXC Golden Eagles Win 10th Straight Grant 4 Title Behind 7 Top 10 Finishers - Tippey Wins While Hart, Sommers, & Clark go 2-3-4

The OHXC Golden Eagles scored a near perfect 17 points with 7 finishers in the Top 10 to win their 10th straight Grant 4 Championship on a tough Mississinewa course Tuesday. The Golden Eagles who are ranked 5th in the latest Class 1a-2a combined computer rankings were led by Senior Corban Tippey who was the Grant 4 Individual Champion. Tippey was followed by Junior Wyatt Hart, Senior Brayden Sommers, and Sophomore Josh Clark who combined the Top 4 spots. Tippey, Hart, and Sommers earned Top 3 Medalist Honors while Clark earned Top 10 All County Honors. Tippey joined Owen Jackson and Sol O'Blenis as the only Golden Eagles to win the individual title the last 10 years. The Golden Eagles won with 17 points while Mississinewa was 2nd with 58, Eastbrook 3rd with 59, and Madison Grant 4th with 112. Joining the top 4 Golden Eagles in the All County Top 10 were Sophomore Bret Hueston in 7th, Freshman Cooper McQuiston in 9th, and Junior Eli Leak in 10th. Additional Top 20 finishers were Sophomore Grant Melton in 13th and Freshman Graham Arrendale 15th. The Golden Eagles have now won 26 of the last 27 Grant 4 Titles. The Golden Eagles are back in action Saturday September 27th in the New Haven Classic held at Huntington University.
